Candidate Verification process

Once you have applied for a position and your recruiter is ready to submit your resume and details to the Relode Job Manager for review, you will be asked to verify your background and qualifications. You will receive an email or text message asking you to verify your interest in the job, from there you will be taken through several steps as shown below ⬇️

  • Step 1: Verify Interest

  • Step 2: You will be presented with a series of qualification questions based on the job requirements. Verification can include education history and both required or preferred qualification questions. Some preferred qualifications may include a video prompt from the Job Manager and the ability to record your own video response.

You will see the job manager's recorded video prompt on the right of the screen, and on the left-hand side, you can record a response in your own words. Video recordings give you 60 seconds to help stand out from the competition and help the hiring manager to see your true self in addition to your resume!

This is the mobile view of your job verification process. You can record, edit or re-record a video response as many times as needed before submitting it. There will be a written response option as well if you're uncomfortable with video, however, Relode highly encourages taking advantage of the video option whenever possible.

Why record a video? Statistics show candidates with video responses attached to their resumes have a 70% higher chance of being considered by a hiring manager.

  • Final Step: At the end of the process, you're able to review and confirm all selections and recordings before submitting your verified information.

Relode is mobile-friendly, so you can complete the job verification process on your phone or laptop.
